PeaceHealth Oregon Region is home to Sacred Heart Medical Center RiverBend and University District hospitals, Cottage Grove Community Hospital and PeaceHealth Medical Group. We offer a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, serving as the largest regional referral center between San Francisco and Portland, with emphases in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, oncology, orthopedics, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, spinal cord rehabilitation, and comprehensive psychiatric services.
As a Physician Liaison for PeaceHealth Oregon Region, you will be Responsible for building provider relationships through effective outreach and marketing efforts, concentrating on service, education and communication with primary care providers. The Physician Liaison will perform duties in support of the goals and objectives of PeaceHealth Oregon Region in its ongoing development of the Regional Network of Care through communication of programs and services; and relationship-building with referring physicians and providers. You will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of PHOR programs and services in order to communicate effectively with referring providers, utilizing CRM software and working collaboratively with the various departments within the Strategy, Innovation and Development division.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Demonstrated history of successful performance in healthcare communications, healthcare administration, healthcare marketing or related field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Possession of an unrestricted valid Oregon driver's license and own vehicle required
OTHER SKILLS:
. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
. Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
. Computer skills are required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM software.
. Availability and enthusiasm for travel throughout the state of Oregon, including some overnight stays.
. Clear understanding of health care delivery constructs and the needs of primary care physicians, ancillary providers and medical specialists.
